The week I spent hiking in Peru in 2005 is still my favorite travel experience, partly because I was there with two of my best friends, and partly because I made some new ones. One of them is Neslie, from Austin, TX. She just started a travel blog about her latest trip to Turkey, which is one of the places I really wanted to see on this trip. Even in a year, though, there's only so much you can see.
She invited me to join her but I am in Vietnam after all and, oh yeah, flat broke. She's one of the coolest people I've ever met, and I'm not just saying that because she was kind enough to mention me in her first blog post.
